Hygie31 announces an alliance with Elsker Group, a benchmark healthcare player in the Hauts-de-France region

After its really positive 2022 results, Elsker Group, a leading healthcare player in the Hauts-de-France region (Pharmacyal, 127 member pharmacies, turnover of 225 million euro; MVD Médical (Mieux Vivre à Domicile (Living Better at Home)), medical equipment supplies; NORCAP, central pharmaceutical procurement platform), announces a partnership with Hygie31, European healthcare player specialized in advising and supporting healthcare and wellness chains (900 member pharmacies across France and Spain, 50 eyewear and optical product stores, 20 medical equipment stores, 2 e-over-the-counter pharmacy, healthcare & beauty product sites, and turnover of 2.1 billion euro). This strategic alliance between the two companies sees Hygie31 take a stake in Elsker Group, co-founded by Cyril Tétart, Alexis Bocahut and Gaétan Bocahut in 2009.
This new transaction enables Hygie31 to strengthen its position as a leader in the French and European healthcare sector, and is fully in line with its vision: to ensure healthcare and wellness are accessible to everyone and to establish pharmacies as the first healthcare point of contact in towns.

Following the successful integration of Gener+ and its Pharmacorp network (+500 traditional local pharmacies), this alliance with the North-of-France-based consortium Pharmacyal enables Hygie31 to strengthen its nationwide network, namely on the local pharmacy market, in rural and suburban areas to serve patientss.

This transaction will enable the Group to increase its influence on laboratories, generic manufacturers and distributors, to develop its medical equipment business, through MVD Médical (Mieux Vivre à Domicile (Living Better at Home), and to integrate a central pharmaceutical procurement platform for all its members over the longer term.
