Hygie31 group, a benchmark player in the healthcare sector in Europe, announces the appointment of Robin Sappe, 49 years old, as Human Resources & CSR Director. This newly-created position focuses on structuring the Group's HR to support its strong growth and meet challenges of unity, collective performance and social innovation.
With over 20 years of experience in human resources, Robin Sappe has enjoyed a rich, diversified career in various sectors such as construction, finance, technology and, more recently, retail where he held the position of HRD for ETAM Group. His wide-ranging experience covers different-sized environments, from SMEs to leading international groups, and has addressed numerous transformation and growth situations. At the same time, Robin Sappe has shown his great entrepreneurial spirit by founding Booxup, a mobile app dedicated to book-sharing between private individuals, which confirms his ability to innovate and his resolutely forward-looking approach.
In his new role in Hygie31, Robin Sappe will focus on creating shared culture, which will strengthen synergy between Hygie31's 500 employees and its 15,000 networked pharmacy employees. Against a backdrop of strong growth underpinned by seven recent acquisitions and new ones in the pipe, he will be responsible for integrating these business units while centralizing HR services.
Robin Sappe will also be tasked with developing HR services for Hygie31 Group member pharmacists, namely by enhancing the training programme and by extending recruitment, remuneration and employer brand consulting services on a European scale. Hygie31 also intends to support its members in an even more proactive way.
Finally, as the leader of the Group's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategy, Robin Sappe will be committed to promoting the values of accessibility and healthcare for everyone – which are at the very heart of Hygie31's DNA – by integrating CSR into the practices of all our business units.
Robin Sappe is delighted by this new challenge: "I was won over by Hgie31's entrepreneurial culture and its sincere commitment to ensuring healthcare is accessible to everyone. Joining a benchmark player in the healthcare sector in Europe is a fantastic opportunity. I'm looking forward to bringing my expertise to support the development of a fast-growing organization, where people remain a central, crucial factor".
This appointment highlights Hygie31's ambition to boost its HR policy to support its growth and anticipate the Group's future needs in a sector that is changing rapidly.
Hervé Jouves, Hygie31 Group CEO states: "Robin Sappe's appointment as Human Resources Director embraces our vision of a united organization, capable of supporting our growth and ambitions sustainably. The creation of this strategic position reflects our desire to establish a common HR policy for a multi-faceted Group that is expanding rapidly across Europe. With his unique profile, combining entrepreneurial experience and expertise acquired in one of Europe's leading multi-chain companies, Robin will inject powerful impetus into human capital, a real source of performance and unity for Hygie31".
