A successful year for Laf Santé

Laf Santé chains continue to grow and show compelling results:

In 2024, Laf Santé optimized its network performance by making full use of the tools available to its members (biosimilars, loyalty card, treatments & procedures, healthcare services). The Group reached its targets with the integration of 43 new pharmacies and points of sale, and a 15% increase in its turnover versus 2023.

Ecoceutics: successfully established in Spain

Since 2022, Ecoceutics, the leading network of independent pharmacies in Spain, has successfully rolled out the Pharmacie Lafayette "Healthcare for Everyone" concept across Iberia. In 2024, 31 pharmacies embraced the "La salud para todos" model. These pharmacies enjoyed an average increase in their turnover of 25.3%, versus 5.8% for the network's traditional pharmacies .

Development, which was initially focused on Catalonia, now extends across strategic areas such as Madrid, San Sebastian (Basque Country) and Valence.

Regional consortia: strong local growth

Regional consortia, which include local pharmacies, which are more traditional but still very buoyant, continue to play key roles in Hygie31's strategy and are vital components of its ecosystem:

E-commerce: strategic transformation for tomorrow

To support its vigorous growth and bring new e-commerce activities into the fold, Dhygietal – Hygie31's e-commerce subsidiary – quadrupled its storage capacity and automated order picking using Exotec technology . This strategic investment has already made it possible to integrate new business activities.

2025: Hygie31 continues to grow rapidly

Although Hygie31 chose to consolidate its ecosystem and organization in 2023-2024, the Group continues to step up the pace and plans to harness synergies to boost performance. By focusing on increasing sales volumes, integrating artificial intelligence into its management and incorporating new acquisitions, Hygie31 targets 3.7 billion euro in turnover and 1,752 points of sale.

Laf Santé also has ambitious goals for 2025. The Group intends to ramp up its model and position illustrated through its "Healthcare for everyone" promise. This model is based on upholding purchasing power and ensuring access to healthcare is easier for everyone. With this in mind, in 2025, Pharmacie Lafayette is launching an innovative sell-in, sell-out plan to boost its price competitiveness and its in-pharmacy product showcasing. It continues to innovate in rolling out healthcare services and in ramping up its digital expertise to ensure access to healthcare is easier for everyone. Laf Santé also intends to enhance the average performance of each pharmacy and store by making use of the tools available to its members (biosimilars, loyalty card, healthcare services, etc.).

Laf Santé has set itself the target of bringing 79 pharmacies and points of sale into its fold as well as increasing its turnover by 15% compared with 2023.

Ecoceutics: promising potential for growth

Ecoceutics plans to integrate 6 new pharmacies in 2025, bringing its network total to 140 pharmacies in Spain. The conversion plan is gaining pace with 22 pharmacies switching over to the concept forecast for 2025, in addition to the 31 already finalized end 2024. Ecoceutics is strengthening its partnerships with leading laboratories through over 85 framework agreements, with an automated centralized procurement solution for pharmacies. Last but not least, Ecoceutics now includes 68 exclusive brand references in its catalogue to help it bring its "La salud para todos" vision to the Spanish market. These products, on sale at highly-accessible prices, as such upholding purchasing power, ensure that Spanish citizens can take care of their health and wellness.

2025 for regional consortia: join forces by relying on Hygie31 to help boost their development

Hygie31's regional consortia have set themselves ambitious targets for 2025, with planned network growth of an additional 154 points of sale, to reach a total of 1,248 pharmacies (+14% vs 2024). This expansion is combined with a clear increase in sales targets, with turnover forecast at 2.1 billion euro, i.e. growth of +12% compared with 2024.

The regional consortia development strategy for 2025 focuses on harmonizing and pooling resources for recruiting new members and for business negotiations. Emphasis will also be placed on sharing best practices via support officers, with the goal of optimizing the network's overall performance.

E-commerce for 2025: Digital transformation

The e-commerce business is on a strong growth path for 2025, with turnover targeted at 139 million euro, i.e. an increase of +40% in relation to 2024. This growth focuses on two key strategic pillars.

  • B2C development will be boosted through new platforms and market investment optimized to win over new customers. The catalogue will be enhanced with new references and work will get underway with new marketplaces to expand our digital presence.
  • At the same time, the B2B segment will also be developed by capitalizing on HygieStore, our exclusive network-dedicated procurement solution.
